Creswick lies at the heart of the central goldfields, just 16kms north of Ballarat and neighbouring the iconic tourism regions of Clunes and Daylesford. In the village you will find the Farmers Arms country pub, Creswick woollen mills and La Peche Gourmand – a traditional French patisserie. For green thumbs, the renowned Lambley Nursery and Garden is also close by. Here you can wander its ornamental gardens and stroll through the nursery which specialises in frost hardy plants.
This historic Victorian gold mining town is cradled between ancient volcanic hilltops and set amongst majestic eucalypts. Creswick’s broad elegantly curved main street is lined with buildings that owe their existence to the region’s common benefactor – gold.
