Located on Wombat Hill, directly opposite the entrance to the Wombat Botanic Gardens you will find Sandringham, a lovingly restored 1930’s cottage with a relaxed yet sumptuous offering.
Ideally located close to town, Lake Daylesford, the Daylesford Sunday market, and the historic Botanic Gardens, you can leave your car parked for the weekend and explore the many sites and natural wonders by foot. A nine-minute walk will have you enjoying an exceptional coffee, glass of wine, fine meal or a spot of shopping. Five minutes in another direction, you can settle in by the fireplace with the locals at the Farmers Arms Hotel, or literally cross the street and head up and into the 150-year-old majestic Wombat Hill.
For those that would like to stay in and make the most of this charming property, the designer kitchen with 90cm Ilve oven and cooktop, butlers pantry and state of the art entertainment system and wall mounted gas fireplace may see you never leave! Spend winter evenings in front of the fire watching a movie, accessing Netflix, Apple TV and Foxtel, or turn on the speaker and simply listen to your favourite tunes. Step out onto the deck on those balmy summer evenings and enjoy a glass of bubbles while the BBQ sizzles looking over to the Wombat Hill gardens and across to your own private garden. If you are tempted to stay longer a full laundry is there to make that decision easier.
Three beautiful, ensuite bedrooms feature split bed options catering to groups of friends, family members or couples. Beds topped with micro cloud bedding will see you enveloped in soft linens and sumptuous pillows enjoying a good nights sleep. A full tub in one of the ensuites will allow you to soak sore or tired muscles.
